The binder that updates itself

Print a playbook in November and it is wrong by December: new plays taped in the back, cut plays nobody crossed out, three assistants running three different versions. This is the living copy. Add a play tonight and your staff sees it tomorrow, in the right section, in order.

What a real book holds

Ask around the coaching forums and the same book shows up everywhere. Not fifty plays: a handful of base sets and a fat BLOB section, pruned hard.

Man Sets 4-5 Zone 2-3 BLOBs 8-10 SLOBs 1-2 Press Break 1-2 Specials 2

The old clinic rule: enough to win the game, and not one play more. Have not called it in two games? It comes out. And in ClickPlays the cut is reversible: a play leaves the book, never your library.

Series and counters live together

Build families: plays that share one alignment sit next to their counters. Your players learn one shape. The defense has to guess which of four things comes out of it.

The book, the card, the cheat sheet

One living book for the staff. A game-day card's worth of prints for the bench. A trimmed, read-only link for players. Everyone gets the version they need, and nobody needs an account.

Built for the printer

Every play prints as a clean, consistent sheet: same diagrams, same layout, every time. Handouts for the binder tonight, and one-click book printing on the way.

The book follows the season

  1. Preseason

    Install

Six weeks to install who you are. Base plays go in first; the series and counters hang off them.

  2. Game week

    The card

Friday does not need thirty pages. Print the card: your calls, the BLOB package, the press break, end-game.

  3. Midseason

    Prune and add

Add a couple of new looks a week. Have not called it in two games? Chuck it. The book stays what you actually run.

  4. Next season

    The program

Duplicate the book, cut the dead weight, hand the returners a system they already know. The program stops living in one coach's head.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

How many plays should a playbook hold?
High school coaches land in the same place more often than not: 4-5 man sets, 2-3 zone looks, a fat BLOB section built off two or three alignments, a press break, and a couple of end-game specials. The clinic rule holds: enough to win the game, and not one play more.
How is a playbook different from my saved plays?
A playbook is the organized book: plays grouped into sections that match how you coach, in the order you teach them. Plays are the pages, the playbook is the binder.
Can my assistant coaches access the playbook?
Yes. Share it with a link and your staff gets read-only access to the whole book. No accounts required to view.
Can I print my plays?
Yes. Every play prints as a clean, consistent sheet for the binder or the bench. Printing the whole book in one click is on the way.
Can I have more than one playbook?
Yes. Many coaches keep separate books per team, per season, or per situation group. The free plan starts with one playbook, PRO removes the limits.
What happens to my playbook next season?
It stays in your account. Copy it, prune it, and start the new season from what already works.
